2025 RATE INCREASE CORRECTION NOTICE

NOTICE OF PROPOSED RATE CHANGE
The Board of Directors of the Woden Water Supply Corporation approved a rate change at the March 13, 2025 regular session meeting.
The overall cost for producing and distributing water has risen considerably over the last few years. The Board of Directors have deemed it necessary to raise the usage rates in order to continually meet and increase our current level of service; and to meet all applicable regulatory compliance criteria, as required by the TEXAS COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (TCEQ).
The proposed rate increase will first appear on your MAY 2025 billing, with the due date of JUNE 10, 2025. If TCEQ receives protests from at least 93 ratepayers (10 percent of the utility’s customers) before the 91st day after the proposed effective date, the matter will be set for hearing.
EFFECTIVE DATE OF PROPOSED GALLON USAGE INCREASE WILL BE APRIL 15, 2025
Current Rates:
Base charge $33.00 per meter Example (2,500 gallons)
0 to 3,000 gallons $4.00 per thousand gallons Bill amount $43.28
3,001 to 8,000 gallons $5.00 per thousand gallons
8,001 to 12,000 gallons $6.00 per thousand gallons
12,001 to 20,000 gallons $7.00 per thousand gallons
All over 20,000 gallons $7.50 per thousand gallons
PROPOSED GALLON USAGE RATES WILL APPEAR ON THE MAY 2025 BILLING:
Base charge $38.00 per meter Example (2,500 gallons)
0 to 3,000 gallons $4.00 per thousand gallons Bill amount $48.30
3,001 to 8,000 gallons $5.00 per thousand gallons
8,001 to 12,000 gallons $6.00 per thousand gallons
12,001 to 20,000 gallons $7.00 per thousand gallons
All over 20,000 gallons $7.50 per thousand gallons
